Every layer of Azari & III's tracks are dripping with a sense of sordid, melted stress. Case in point is their latest single Manic, a re-visioned acid house ballad brought to life in the nihilistic nightclub fantasy of the official video above. It's a late night body mover captured with drugs, skulls and axe wielding girls, a lesson in how to frame the face of Toronto's finest.
Azari & III's debut album is due out August 12.

Modcast #85: Azari & III present Alphonse Alixander Lanza III Shimmers Mixtape
The anticipation around Azari & III's upcoming self-titled album is growing. NME have already named it the best house album of the year, and we're inclined to agree. August 12 is the date you'll be able to make up your own mind.
In the meantime, take a listen to the 'Shimmers' mixtape Alphonse Alixander III has put together. It's a different sound to what you might expect. It's hip shakin' but in a guitar-heavy and very awesome way.

Bestival v Modular
We are pretty chuffed to announce that Modular will be hosting the Roller Disco stage at Bestival on Friday September 8.
When we say Roller Disco, we're not joking, we mean the mother of all roller discos. With music blasting from a giant-sized jukebox stage, and vintage skates free to hire. (Or if someone else's wheels doesn't quite float yer boat, you can get your own high-tops pimped with sick trucks.) And don't worry, if you're not super confident about skates, there's plenty of room for you without wheels.
On said stage you'll be able to enjoy some of the label's finest, including Azari & III, Bag Raiders and Sneaky Sound System. And Cut Copy will also be playing on the Friday, at the Big Top. BOOM!
