Those kings of carnivale, Bag Raiders, are bringing their heavy, sweaty, dancehall jams to the USA and South America, with the announcement of a March/April tour that includes a slot at dance music's mecca - Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 26 and Colombia's Festival Estereo Picnic on April 9.

Fresh from their hugely successful National Live tour, Bag Raiders have been added to the bill for the Good Vibrations festival 2011 - where they'll play the full national run alongside Faithless, Phoenix, Nas & Damien Marley, Miike Snow, Friendly Fires and Erykah Badu amongst others.

Those dates for your diaries are Sydney (12 Feb), Melbourne (13 Feb), Gold coast (19 Feb) and Perth (20 Feb). Modular men Cassian and Shazam will also be rocking Sydney and Perth respectively. For more info and tickets head to: www.gvf.com.au

In case you missed Bag Raiders' live set from their Aus Music Month event earlier this month, tune into triple j or triplej.net.au from 8PM tonight to hear their recorded live set at The Metro in Sydney.

Keep an ear out for the encore and cover with very special guest, Darryl Braithwaite.

In other triple j/Bag Raiders news, the boys' debut self-titled debut album has been nominated for the prestigious J Award for Australian Album of the Year. The nominations pits Jack and Chris up against the likes of Tame Impala and several other homegrown class acts.
