Congratulations are in order to both Ladyhawke and Delphic, who were nominated for BRIT Awards earlier today. While Pip's up for 'Best International Female Solo Artist', Delphic are in the running for the prestigious 'Critics Choice.'

The full nomination list is up to browse at, and the awards be handed out on 18 February.

Make sure you tune into Triple J all this week to catch Delphic's upcoming debut record, Acolyte, receiving regular rotations as it has been hand-plucked as the station's Feature Album.

If you already haven't, you can stream the whole thing in its entirety over on at the trio's MySpace. There'll be more Delphic goodies popping up this week, so don't be a stranger.

It's all happening right now on the Delphic front, with the release of their debut Acolyte (NME's "first great debut of 2010") right around the corner on January 22, we thought we'd toss a few goodies your way to help tide you over. First up is a pair of killer remixes; Riton getting all up in Delphic's own stomper "Doubt" in addition to team Delphic going all French on Phoenix's "Fences". Have a stream, turn up the speakers and invite the neighbours in.

But that's not all. This week's Modcast instalment will be a all-killer-no-filler mix put together by (you guessed it) Delphic, included with a special announcement.

While the ink has barely dried on their freshly signed contract, the BBC News have already declared Delphic as one the "Sounds of 2010". An illustrious title if ever there was, the Manchurian band have made the longlist of 15 bands, with the top 5 being announced in the new year. Onya, lads.
