'Ivory', a standout from Movement's debut EP released earlier this year on Modular Recordings, now has a video. Directed by Fleur & Manu (M83, Gesaffelstein, Connan Mockasin), the NSFW video paints a stark, delicate picture of love and lust, nudity, intimacy and sexuality, of two bodies merging into one like colours running together in a tableau. It's a deep, surrealist meditation on the physical act of love and two individuals perceptions of what that is.
After wrapping their first run of international tour dates last month, Movement are also pleased to announce they'll be taking their evocative soul along the Australian East Coast this September. The tour is on sale now and will be followed by a 26-date US run in support of Twin Shadow's synth-pop, playing venues of up to 3000 people.
MOVEMENT AUS TOUR DATES
After winning over US fans during their select shows last month, Movement have made quick plans to return for a more extensive run in support of Twin Shadow's synth-pop. Catch this epic double bill in a city near you this September/October.

Following two back-to-back Best New Tracks on Pitchfork, Sydney creepers Movement present 'Ivory', the latest single from their forthcoming eponymous EP. 'Ivory' brews sentiment and nostalgia with an almost ominous, stirring drive of slo-mo piano pulses and additional production and mixing from Ilangelo (The Weeknd).
Out May 2 (Aus), May 5 (UK/Euro), May 6 (US), the four track EP sees the band touring Australia during May and June, as well as their first UK headline show en route to FOR Festival in Croatia, playing London's Ace Hotel Basement on Monday June 16th with support from fellow FOR festival artist Baio and Modular DJs.

The latest release from Sydney's Movement is the slow-burning Like Lust, which recently picked up Pitchfork's Best New Track tag, reached the #1 spot on the Hype Machine, and has clocked up 200,000 Soundcloud plays in just over two weeks.
Sydney trio Movement reveal their new track 'Like Lust', the lead track from their forthcoming self-titled EP. Made up of a slow-burning anti-song structure with a looping groove, it was recorded by the band at home, then optimized by Canadian producer and The Weeknd foil Illangelo, who was later recruited to provide additional production and mixing.
In the space of the past ten months, Jesse Ward, Lewis Wade and Sean Walker aka Movement released their first two singles, 'Feel Real' and 'Us', played a handful of shows, toured alongside Solange and will soon take to the stage with DARKSIDE. They clocked up over half a million plays each on YouTube and soundcloud, nabbed Best New Track (for 'Us') on Pitchfork, and all the while never shifted their focus from the new - the first fruits of which we share today.
Movement recently set up shop in the famed Cell Block Theatre in Australia's National Art School and filmed a Modular Studio Session featuring current single Us. Captured by the eye of Sydney director Mike Daly.
Stay tuned for more to come from Movement's Studio Session.
Psychic, the debut album by Darkside (Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington), was released in Australia last month to worldwide critical acclaim. The band is pleased to announce some much-anticipated Australian tour dates for April 2014, with tickets going on sale this Thursday (November 21). Sydney's up-and-comers Movement will be supporting all shows.
