Tame Impala's Lonerism Is NME's #1 Album of the Year
It's been a big couple weeks for the Tame Impala boys. Last week saw 'Lonerism' nab the coveted J Award from triple j for Album of the Year. This week, NME gave it the top spot on their annual Top 50 Best Albums of the Year.
Pond also grabbed the #7 spot on the same list for 'Beard Wives Denim'. Big thanks to the lads over at NME for the love. Check out the full 50 here.

Pond Touring Australia this September
Pond have got four big dates to rock your socks off this September, Australia. Starting in Perth on September 15th, the lads will then be throwing down the psych rock gauntlet in Sydney, Newcastle and Melbourne. Dates below.

Watch: Pond - Moth Wings
Pond, who NME dubbed 'Hottest Band in the World', release the official video for 'Moth Wings'. Filmed on an iPhone by the band themselves, the video is pure madness but also what could be the cultural Apex of Steve Jobs' corporate embodiment. Not their official stance by any stretch but time will tell.
The track is taken off their album 'Beard Wives Denim', out now on Modular.

From there they snake their way throughout the UK, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium, including a free instore at Rough Trade East on Tuesday May 22. Full dates below.

Splendour 2012 Line-up
We're pleased to confirm Modular will be well represented at Splendour in the Grass this year.
Ladyhawke, Tame Impala, Beni, Canyons (DJ Set), Pond, Muscles, Wolfmother and Luke Million will be performing, alongside the likes of Jack White, Bloc Party, Azealia Banks, At The Drive In, Miike Snow and the Gossip.
The festival is returning to Byron Bay this coming 27 - 29 July. For the full line-up and ticket info, check the Splendour in the Grass website. Tickets go on-sale 9am Friday April 27.

Pond was born under a mulberry tree in Daglish, Western Australia, by Joseph Ryan, Nick Allbrook and Jay Watson. Under said mulberry tree they conceived the idea of an album of tropical psychedelic idiocy that they performed that night at a friends party in North Perth.
