Beck's Record Club
Introducing Record Club, a collective of well known musicians who meet to record a cover of an album in one day. In their own words "there is no intention to 'add to' the original work or attempt to recreate the power of the original recording. Only to play music and document what happens."
This recording covers the work of Circa 1979's keynote presenter John Cale in a revision of The Velvet Underground's incredible self titled album.
John Cale will open Circa 1979 with a keynote presentation at the Seymour Centre on January 15th and perform at the Enmore Theatre on January 16th.
