Nevereverland

In 2007 Modular hosted is first Nevereverland Festival headlined by the legendary Daft Punk. Modular Ideas took on the management of NEL overall developing a non traditional marketing strategy to sell tickets and gain sponsorship for the event.

The first step was the creation of the Daft Punk film festival featuring a set of short films produced by the french electro duo in capital cities around Australia and the bundling of a Daft Punk album with the first 40,000 tickets sold. This was followed by the development of artwork used in targeted communications and on-field dressing as well as the co-ordination of third party sponsorship.

Overall Modular Idea's marketing strategy saw NEL become Ticketmaster's (Aust) fastest selling event for the year, selling out all 85,000 tickets. Third party sponsorship brought an additional million dollar profit back into the brand. To this day NEL '07 remains one of the most talked about events in Australian music festival history.
