Temples' cool take on psych-pop, glam and folk-rock will be in full bloom at Hvar. This tune really kick started their career, prompting Johnny Marr and Noel Gallagher to claim them as the best new band in Britain. It's bound to turn FOR Festival into liquid, becoming one with the Adriatic Sea.
As Klaxons release their third album, 'Love Frequency', in Australia today, they confirm details of their next tour, kicking off in the UK in late October. A band consistently looking to innovate and push boundaries, this will be the world's first 3D printed tour, with all of the instruments, lights and production supplied using a 3D printer. Watch them discuss the process above.

October 26 - Cockpit - Leeds
October 27 - O2 ABC - Glasgow

Enigmatic DJ/production duo Tiger & Woods represent Italy at next week's international gathering at FOR Festival in Hvar, Croatia. They'll be soundtracking the epicurean lifestyle with their own brand of boogie, house and compressed funk, looping vaguely familiar disco samples and backbone strapping baselines live. This new modcast, entitled "Too(L) Late for Summer Fitness Mix", is our training program. Convert about their identity, rare interview subjects Larry Tiger and David Woods even participated in a shotgun Q&A. Start pumping those muscles.
View highlights from the first night of Modulations through the lens of Sydney photographer Jack Mannix, who shot these distinctive images on slide film. HTRK mesmerised before Liars pummelled their industrial pop. Meanwhile The Presets DJs killed the opening slot for the Pet Shop Boys' immersive concert experience. Mannix, also a musician who has played in Circle Pit, Drown Under and Kiosk, recently published his first full-colour artist monograph 'Precious Metals', binding a series of gritty documentary-style images that explore themes of isolation, addiction, sex and death, and cross the boundaries of both lo-fi and high-fashion photography. Chris Stracey and Jack Glass, aka Bag Raiders, have been hard at work crafting album #2, basing themselves in LA as they labor over the follow up to 2010's self-titled debut. However, they've continued to make deeply satisfying club music in tandem, and the immediacy and excitement of two recently-recorded lethal tracks has prompted a standalone EP, breaking their release drought of almost three years.
The EP will be released via Modular on July 4 (AUS), July 7 (UK/EU), July 8th (USA), and will feature two original club tracks, Nairobi and Savannah, each paired with a remix.
We're letting Nairobi loose today.

Sydney-based Californian photographer The Unstuck Man got in the thick of Modulation's Wild Porteño, a one off collaboration between Argentine grill Porteño and LA rockabilly label Wild Records. He captured The Delta Bombers howlin' rhythms, Luis and his dangerous band The Wildfires, the beautiful Gizzelle and DJs A Man Called Stu and Rockin' Marc Rondeau, along with some great rockabilly culture portraits and Porteño's slow cooked delights.
FOR Festival is stoked to announce even more fun stuff to add to your daily FOR schedule. In addition to the live evening performances at Veneranda, and the late-night dance parties on island carpe diem Beach, today we announce a series of day parties. You'll be able to spend your afternoons warming up at venues Hula Hula Bar and Jerolim (which is clothing optional for the naturalists amongst us), with a rotating cast of DJs and characters from the wider line-up.
And for the diehards in our midst - we'll be hosting after parties at local spot Pink Champagne, from 4am until close each night. Keep the party going with our residents Cookie, Buzdovan & surprise guests.
Super producer Mark Ronson brings his supreme cuts to FOR Festival next week. In this video he shares some of his DJ philosophies along with memories of getting Prince up off his set, playing with Q-Tip and the music that inspired the initial sessions with Amy Winehouse. With a collection this massive, who knows what records he'll pack for his Croatian sojourn.
DFA family members Factory Floor have a reputation for turning their disorientating body music and industrial experiments into a phenomenal live force. Next week this unmistakeable groove will be transported from the trio's isolated North London warehouse origins to the paradisiacal Mediterranean landscape of FOR Festival. We prepare for the close quarters hang out (the festival is limited to 2500 tickets), breaking the ice with a few questions about the band's aesthetic and ambitions, over a shadowy mixtape pieced together by synthesist Dominic Butler.
Here's a nice limited edition conceived by Sydney-based graphic designer Steele Bonus. 'Odd Waves' is a new 32-page risograph printed book, documenting an international movement of New Wave outsiders circa 1979-1985.
Through fuzzy photographic portraits lifted from obscure record covers that were only admired in tiny editions, a loose narrative is told, contrasting pop wannabes and art school punks. The corresponding mix CD is total madness too - Eastern European disco, narcotic Neue Deutsche Welle and naive DIY.
Only 300 copies exist and are available at Colette.
