Cut Copy Announce New Album 'Free Your Mind'

Last week the Cut Copy brain trust erected 6 mysterious billboards around the world (in Mexico City, Detroit, the California Dessert, Santiago, Western Australia and Blaina, UK) prompting locals to free their minds through the power of suggestion. Later posting co-ordinates online, fans journeyed to their closest location with a smart phone to access an exclusive stream of the band's latest single Free Your Mind.

Now that the pilgrims have returned, we're ready to divulge that the single is the title of the band's forthcoming album, which follows from the Grammy-nominated and ARIA Award-winning Zonoscope. Produced by Cut Copy frontman Dan Whitford and mixed by sonic wizard Dave Fridmann (Tame Impala, MGMT, Flaming Lips), the record pays homage to the two Summers of Love (1967 and 1988-1989), creating a fantasy of what the next youth revolution might sound like.

Set for release Nov 1 AUS/ Nov 4 UK / Nov 5 US, it's now available for pre-order on vinyl via the ModShop and in digital format via iTunes. Listen below or go beyond to hum impressions of the tracklisting.
