"It's Blitz!" In Triple J's Top Ten Albums of 2009
Over the weekend Triple J listeners voted Yeah Yeah Yeahs' It Blitz! as the 7th best album of 2009, in addition to making many Triple J staff member's own top ten lists. While we were busy celebrating their latest record, YYYs celebrated 10 years of All Tomorrow's Parties by playing the entirety of their debut, Fever To Tell (including hidden track "Poor Song") in Minehead on December 10.

A jam-packed, scorcher of a summer's day was had by all in attendance at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi, while the masses enjoyed big tunes and bigger vibes from the likes of Tame Impala, Jonathan Boulet, The Swiss, Canyons, Kim, Bang Gang, Tim Cutters, Anna Lunoe, Graz, Dreamtime and Johnny The Ladd.

Sydney Post Punk Band #5: SPK
There are many theories behind what the intentionally ambiguous acronym SPK stands for all of which have been further confused by suggestive album covers and little confirmation from the band's members. The most dominate theory remains, however, that co founders Graeme Revell and Neil Hill met while they were both working in a psychiatric hospital and became inspired reading the manifesto of a German radical Marxist group called Sozialistisches Patientenkollektiv.
Delphic Remix Contest
