Tip your hats and say hello to Modular's newest family members, the DJ/producer duo Leo Holiday and Ryan Sea-mist, better known as the collective unit, Canyons.

Hailing from Perth but now calling Sydney home, Canyons are more "cool older step-brother" than "creepy uncle" and have been causing ripples in the house music pond with their unique flavour of eclectic genre-defying tunes.

You can't rush art, so while we all pine over the release of Canyons' debut record, Modular will be releasing a single before the year is out to offer a taste test of what to expect. Also, keep your ears peeled for a 12" single due out this July on DFA.
