We are smitten to announce that starting today, Modular's very-own finest and most beautiful will be featured heavily for Triple J's Ausmusic Month.

The celebrations kick off with the jack-of-all-trades Jonathan Boulet being the feature star for today's Next Crop, with his brand new single "321 Ready Or Not" being premiered on air & online.

The party continues tonight as Wolfmother take over a very special live recordings of the recent sold-out show at Sydney's Enmore Theatre. You can check the guys blast through all their hits plus some new material off their mammoth new album Cosmic Egg tonight at 8pm on your wireless transistor or streaming online. Once done tune into ABC2 tonight from 9pm to see the afro in action in all it's glory on JTV as well.

And just when you thought 'Wait, that's too much Kahlua for one gringo', Kim (Presets) steps up to the plate to put the doof doof in your Saturday nights. That's right, we get to toast to Kim's new album, Selected Jerks every Saturday from 9pm as he takes the mix mix residency to new levels in November. One half of The Presets, with double the bang.

A friendly reminder that Kim (Kimberley Isaac Moyes of Presets fame) has released his highly anticipated 2 disc collection of this last decade's worth solo output, in the form of Selected Jerks 2001-2009.

Incase you weren't aware, Ladyhawke's bombastic eponymous debut album has now seen five official single releases. For all of those those mathematically-minded number crunchers reading along, that's almost half of the record, which is practically a record within itself.

The most recent has been "Magic", which is now available on the iTunes Music Store for download. In addition to original, there are a handful of remixes by the likes of The Swiss and Donnie Sloan.

Also, how's about a big round of applause for Pip for getting the prestigious number one album position in New Zealand.

Remember zines? They were pretty of big when everyone had a fax number and your sister was in a Riot Grrrl band. While some things may have changed since then, zines are still a big deal. While we're advocates of the future and all of the digital goodness it brings with it - nothing really beats the warm feeling of freshly-Xeroxed pages between your fingers.

Lucky for us nostalgic folk, Bang Gang have put together an extremely nifty zine featuring interviews and the like with their label mates and pals, which can be obtained when their new Radicool Compilation is purchased at JB HiFi.
