It's time we took a minute to reflect on the gigantuan times Tame Impala are having. Not content to score a gold record in Australia, reconfigur3d Daft Punk and have Erol Alkan rework them, (ps this is also available on 12" over here) they've been criss-crossing the U.S of A for the last few weeks with a string of sell-out dates and rave reviews.

Including shout outs in the Seattle Weekly ... and the Wall Street Journal (!!!) While Pitchfork and Spin took special note of their performance of Coachella, with Spin naming them the band Best Festival Newcomers.

Along the road they caught up with MTV's Matt Pinfield about their hometown Perth, Deerhunter and finishing their next album and dropped into Seattle's KEXP for a 4 song live session, which you can stream for a short time over here.

They'll be playing a special show at the Sydney Opera House in early June before heading to Europe for a swag of dates in June/July.
