Klaxons To Release First Great Record Of 2010
Klaxons have unveiled new info on their forthcoming LP. Speaking with an eager BBC Music, Jamie Reynolds spilt the beans on the elusive trio's latest biz. "We've got 28 songs, and we're just about to put it together as a complete record" he proclaimed. Originally slated for 2009, the lads have pushed back the release until 2010... "We'd really like to put out the first great record of the 2010s rather than the last great one of this decade. Now that's become an aspiration and a goal." Excited?

Download: Bumblebeez - "Misfit"
The Bumblebeez are a brother/sister sucker punch unlike any other. No messin'. Though they've been fittingly described as "musical coleslaw", this delicious description is somewhat of an understatement once their back catalogue and erratic brilliance live has been experienced/witnessed.
While Chris Colonna has recently donned his producer hat and helmed the controls on the highly imaginative new Wolf & Cub record, he's managed to find some time to drop an exclusive track for the V Raw project, entitled "Misfit". Made on his Nintendo DSi using the Korg DS software with vox and drums (via the system's inbuilt audio player), the crunchy little 8-bit banger is now out in the ether for all and sundry to absorb.

Video: Wolfmother - "Back Round" (Live at the LA Natural History Museum)
All work and no play make Wolfmother a dull band, so to speak. So to combat any studio-induced cabin fever while recording the upcoming album, Cosmic Egg, the boys stepped out to the LA Natural History Museum to play a very special gig. Watch them play the new tune "Back Round" and keep your eyes peeled, you might even learn something.

Modular Signs Canyons
Tip your hats and say hello to Modular's newest family members, the DJ/producer duo Leo Holiday and Ryan Sea-mist, better known as the collective unit, Canyons.
Hailing from Perth but now calling Sydney home, Canyons are more "cool older step-brother" than "creepy uncle" and have been causing ripples in the house music pond with their unique flavour of eclectic genre-defying tunes.
#30: Dreamtime - Music For Airports, Planes, Trains and Buses
For the last 3 weeks I've been forced to float around Europe thanks to some immigration issues keeping me from my new home in London. A lot of this time has been spent shuffling between airports, planes, trains, buses, hotels, friends flats and footpaths, in Paris, Rome, Gothenburg and Stockholm.
