Modular People

With The Rapture's eagerly anticipated album "In The Grace of Your Love" dropping through Modular on September 2 we had a quick catch-up with Gabriel from the band about where he goes on the World Wide Web to find inspiration or pass time.

I honestly try to spend as little time on line as possible, I use the Information Super Highway mostly for work, reference or to unwind with a TV show or movie. I would rather find my inspiration in the physical world, whether its a book store, movie theatre, museum, concert or a wander through the city or nature.

I Slept Through What

Kevin is a friend who is really good at napping just about anywhere at anytime. When he is awake you might find him attempting comedy with my other buddy Max Wowch opening for The Rapture show or on their East Village Radio show, Pizza Party. Miniboners

This is a buddy's blog who always has finds really great stuff that covers a lot of bases. I think he trolls the web just for me so I don't have to look around for all this inspiring stuff. Basically, he provides a great service for me and doesn't even know it.

Arts and Letters Daily

This is the spot I visit if I'm bored in a hotel room and haven't been putting my mind to good use. I am assuming a few of the readers of the Modular site may find this a bit unhip, pretentious or erudite. If so, go jump in a lake or try and copulate with yourself.

Tone Matrix

This is simply a beautiful little instrument that anyone can play. Lotsa other little toys on here as well.
