Eyes basking in the work of up and coming Dutch artist Jordy van den Nieuwendijk. Fun, clean, chromatic line illustrations. Some detailed by hand while others are humanised computer drawings, sliding between sophisticated figures and goofy cartoon imagery. A simple style that empowers white space with incidental parallels to Australia's own Ken Done.
Jordy currently works on freelance, collaborative and autonomous projects from his studio in The Hague. He's enlightened Colette Paris, Apartamento Magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek and the Plant Journal, as well as exhibition spaces around the globe.
