Recommends: The KLF (K Foundation) - Burn A Million Quid

Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty aka The KLF. One of the UK's most successful groups of the early 1990s and ultimately the most notorious pop culture agitators of the 20th Century. From scribing the cynical step-by-step guidebook The Manual (How to Have a Number One the Easy Way) to machine-gunning blanks at the Brit Awards audience before dumping a dead sheep in the doorway and retiring, no act would amount to their polarizing endeavor as art institution the K Foundation.

On 23 August 1994 the duo traveled to the Scottish island of Jura to incinerate the million quid earned by their former guise in front of two witnesses. Vowing to refrain from public discussion of the burning for a period of 23 years, this is their story.
