KIM (Or Kimberley Isaac Moyes as his mother calls him) is erstwhile producer/drummer/programmer and one half of the Presets, Australia’s foremost proponents of dashing pop/dance (non) sense and (not so) sensibility.
With his KIM hat on, Kimberley mans the Wet N Wild wheel and heads for synthetic, sexed-up electro city.
While music from the Presets could incite a riot, this track from KIM - a stripped back mix of bleeps, beats, arpeggiated chords and cascading synths - points straight towards the dance floor. This clean hit of pure electro action stands out as unique in Australia’s (still) mash-up obsessed/anything-goes dance circles.
The pina colada robot-party continues with a dance floor devastating remix by Midnight Juggernauts, a Riot In Belgium burner and Donnie Sloan’s neu-Italo take on top of the OG.
