With a Trevor Jackson (Playgroup, Output Recordings) Modcast coming up very soon, now's your chance to acquaint yourself with the prolific UK DJ with two very special shows this weekend.

First up is a show in Sydney this very evening at the Beck's Festival Bar where Trevor will be joined by Yen, Aeroplane and Future Classic DJs, while tomorrow night in Melbourne Andee Frost's world famous weekly club night: 'The House de Frost' will be playing host to an "intimate evening" with Trevor Jackson.

The Melbourne Xmas Party playing times have just been announced and if Sydney's seasonal bash last weekend was anything to go by - this weekend's is bound to be an absolute corker. 'Tis the season to be jolly, and the jolly swashbuckling good times will be available by the sackful at the 2009 Modular Xmas Party.

This year's Modular Xmas Party, both in Sydney and Melbourne, will feature a selection of the label's latest and greatest coming together in what's set to be anything but a silent afternoon in the pub or raving night in the club.

Bringing fresh-faced holiday cheer will be Tame Impala, Jonathan Boulet and The Swiss playing live, while Canyons will be steering the party sleigh from within the confines of the DJ booth.

Also joining in the sunstroked festivities in Sydney, Bang Gang DJs, Kim (The Presets), Ladyhawke (DJ Set), Tim Cut Copy, Graz & Anna Lunoe, and in Melbourne, Muscles (live) and Tony Pepperoni, Andee Frost, Bongmist, Nick Foley and Knightlife.
