When he's not making videos for some of your favourite bands like Phoenix, Digitalism, SIA and most recently, WIM, Daniel Askill does advertising campaigns for brands like BMW, Smirnoff, ACNE and Dior Homme.
He's also a talented artist. Throughout all his work Daniel Askill has special way with space and movement, and music.
Most recently Askill produced a short film 'Modern Worship' which was exhibited in collaboration with Joseph Allen Shea's nomadic gallery installation project Gallery A.S. This particular project took place in a disused inner-city Church.
Being two multi-talented guys, who create work in unlikely places we asked them for some insights into their inspiration.

Chromeo's "Business Casual" Tracklist Revealed
This Spring the party-starting, festival-happy Montreal plastic-funk duo Chromeo are set to release their third studio album, Business Casual, out September 10 downunder.
Some fun facts about Business Casual: Solange Knowles lends her voice to "When the Night Falls"; Cassius member and Phoenix producer Philipe Zdar, a longtime Chromeo collaborator, mixed the disc; and, as with Fancy Footwork, Surface 2 Air did the artwork.
Excited? You should be.

It's all happening right now on the Delphic front, with the release of their debut Acolyte (NME's "first great debut of 2010") right around the corner on January 22, we thought we'd toss a few goodies your way to help tide you over. Modcast #33: Old Gold - A Night Out With Cut Copy (2006)
Way back in 2006 Cut Copy pulled together a mix for Triple 5 Soul featuring the year's big dance floor tracks/bangers sprinkled with Cut Copy's electro-pop sensibilities turning out a mix for all seasons, for the people, not necessarily by the people. Think "The World is Running Down" by The Police being run down by Tiga's "You Gonna Want Me" melted effortlessly into Digitalism's "Zdarlight" and you've only really hit the tip. There's so much more, and not being one to spoil the surprises, as is with these things your ears will be the best judge.
