Well done team Modular, who represented a tidy 5% slice in this year's Triple J Hottest 100 pie chart, which was unveiled yesterday. Yeah Yeah Yeahs' peaked as the highest Mod act (with 2 songs no less), while Australia's own Wolfmother, Tame Impala and Bag Raiders bigged up the local side of things. Thank you all for taking the time to vote, and a big congratulations to the acts!

Over the weekend Triple J listeners voted Yeah Yeah Yeahs' It Blitz! as the 7th best album of 2009, in addition to making many Triple J staff member's own top ten lists. While we were busy celebrating their latest record, YYYs celebrated 10 years of All Tomorrow's Parties by playing the entirety of their debut, Fever To Tell (including hidden track "Poor Song") in Minehead on December 10.

We are smitten to announce that starting today, Modular's very-own finest and most beautiful will be featured heavily for Triple J's Ausmusic Month.

The celebrations kick off with the jack-of-all-trades Jonathan Boulet being the feature star for today's Next Crop, with his brand new single "321 Ready Or Not" being premiered on air & online.

Whoever said that Video was convicted and found guilty of killing the Radio Star? Make sure you crack out the wave lengths next Monday August 10th on triple j, because Tame Impala will be tearing the transceiver a new one on Live At The Wireless at 8pm. Too busy then? Don't fret - because it will repeated on Sunday August 16th at 5pm. And for all of you tech-loving legends who tossed out their radio sets during the dot com boom, you can stream it online.
