Alt, indie, underground, DOM can be whatever you want. They've mixed synths and guitars with long hair, beer and whiskey to create a sound both uplifting and melancholic. These boys based in Wisconsin chose music because music chose them, whispering anthem after anthem into their ears as they burst from the garage to the stages of SXSW in a matter of months. Vivid Live is a festival of music and art held annually at The Sydney Opera House. In 2011 it will run from May 27th to June 5th and will be curated by Modular's Steve Pavlovic.
