Vivid Live 2011 is underway with shows taking place in the stunning surrounds of the Sydney Opera House.

SUPERBIEN have lit the sails in a way that captivates imaginations, leaving you marvelling at the brilliance and scale of their work over and over. They are now widely known as 'Superstars'.

SPIRITUALISED transfixed audiences, with the heart-breaking beauty of Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space - played in full with a 34-piece orchestra in the Opera Theatre.

CUT COPY commanded the Concert Hall, and had the entire audience on their feet and singing along.

ARCHITECTURE IN HELSINKI brought a brass section and choir onto the stage and the audience responded by dancing their hearts out.

In the studio, Gavin Russom's new project THE CRYSTAL ARK, WU LYF and AZARI & III's shows all rewarded fans and won new admirers.

Sneaky Sundays, and Mad Racket helped us bring the parties across the first weekend, thoroughly covering the music and good-time duties with help from Bag Raiders, Beni, Van She, Bamboo Musik, Miss Connie and Black Angus, Flight Facilities, the Swiss and an army of DJs.

And we're only just warming up. The list of what's still to come this week is equally amazing.

Starting today, 2manydj and Soulwax brothers David and Stephen Dewaele bring a unique Radio Soulwax program to the airwaves, from the Sydney Opera House.

Then there's the once in a life-time experience of watching The Cure: Reflections.

And before the end of the week - Odd Future, Dom, Sonny Rollins, Chris Cunningham, Yo Gabba Gabba and Biz Markie, Bat for Lashes, The Avalanches, Tame Impala, Hypnotic Brass Orchestra, Horsemeat Disco and Daniele Baldelli will all take to stages at the Sydney Opera House!
